The Walk for Waves is a coastal walk over an 11 day period to raise awareness and funding to develop Adaptive Surfing in Australia, Equipment for Adaptive surfers, and helping the Australian Adaptive Surf team achieve their goals at the World Championships again this year in Southern California. Jade “Red” Wheatley, a double amputee and well-recognized surfer, will lead each day of the walk.

Why don’t you join Jade “Red” Wheatley and other community members as they walk from Nobbys Beach, Newcastle to Manly Beach, Sydney raising awareness for adaptive surfing.

The Walk starts on Saturday the 30th of July and is expected to end 11 days later on Tuesday the 9th of August.
